João Barbosa is the founder and CEO of JBB Par Investments, a holding company with investments in different businesses in Brazil and the USA.
João graduated in Engineering in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1994. For the next two years, he worked at Banco Itaú, the largest private Brazilian bank, and then left for the world of entrepreneurship.
In 1997, João founded Fast & Food, which later became the second largest logistics operator for restaurant chains in Brazil. In 2011 he sells his stake to run new businesses. Before moving to Miami in 2012, João participated directly in the creation of the fund that was set up to finance the Giraffas internationalization project and until the beginning of 2016 he was responsible for the operation in the United States.
In recent years, João has focused on his investment portfolio which includes, in addition to Giraffas, other companies such as Argus Control (Commercial and Residential Automation), DeliveryPay (Payment Method), Winn (Social Benefits Network), JBEI (Empreendimentos Imobiliários) ), D2Airport (Remote Baggage Check-in), Belt Media USA (Media) and V2V.net (Volunteer and Social Engagement Platform) where, in addition to being a partner, he has been directly responsible for global expansion.
